beko 1512 taking to long

    hi got a beko 1512 but on the fast wash it takes ages ive checked the thermostat and heater they seem ok , pump ok no blockages so now im thinking the timer any ideas would help,thanks.

    Hi I would probably go for the module then, How long is she saying the quick wash is taking?.

    The programmes on these are very long, and can be extended by low water pressure and an out of balance load issues.

    hi,she said it takes forever so ive asded her to time a fast wash do you know how long it should take? in thinking 30 to 45 mins.

    As a general rule, if it completes the cycle irrespective of the time taken, without displaying an error then there’s no fault.

    It usually turns out to be something external that’s causing the issue, water pressure, loading as Boselecta says, water temperature etc.. And, he’s also spot on with modern machines can take 2 hours or more, quick washes anything between 15 minutes (apparently) and an hour and a half.

    Replacing the PCB is liable to accomplish nothing. I’d be looking for another reason if it doesn’t stop somewhere.

    ok she timed the quick program on with any empty machine and it finished in aprox two hours so ill have another go at it ,thanks for the advice.

    Syphoning??
    40 degree eco is timed in the instruction book at 180 mins :rolls:

    hi,have you got a copy of the instruction book, there is a fast wash and a rinse hold button on this machine but she is not sure if the button has to be pressed in or out to work, and im not either,thanks.
