We have a Beko AB910W and the lcd display just loses all its temperature info and then the freezer starts to defost the bottom of the fridge gets very cold too with a small patch of frost appearing on the chiller drawer along the edge side between the freezer and fridge.
After about a day the display begins to flash with the temperature and then it all turns back on again . ?
This also seems to happen when the outside temperature is colder as it didnt happen throughout the summer and happened last winter. ( maybe that is just a coincidence )
Any help would be much appreciated.

Maybe its an issue with poor connections on p.c.b.
Only other problems i’ve come across with patchy frost appearing would be fan stopping or getting caught on ice/frost build up, but this should’nt cause temperature information to disappear altogether from display.

If the display is cutting out the problem will be a faulty main PCB on this model.

The PCB is under a cover on the top of this model.

Easy to change PCB and not expensive compaired to most makes of Amercan style fridge freezers.

The fridge freezer is designed to work in normal room temperatures so if it is in a cold place the low ambient temperature will effect the appliance, the temperature should not drop below 10 degrees c
    For it to work correctly.

If you get a fault with the fridge section getting cold at the bottom and warmer at the top then it will be a fan in the freezer fault.

To check the fan is working.

When the appliance is running and you can here the compressor. If you open the freezer door and then press and hold the door switch after a few seconds you should here the fan cut in.
