Hi Can someone please advise me as to aht this error code means and whether we can buy a spare part and fix it ourselves as this FF is approx 6 months out of Warranty ..

Also Can someone confirm whether it is true that BEKO uses the same error codes as Hotpoint.. see codes below If this is true can someone please tell me more about how to fix an “Evaporator thermistor short circuit.”

Does anyone know where I can find a service manual online for the AP930 NOT a user manual as we have one of those, though coudl not find any useful help re error codes other than to call an engineer ..

EG these codes are also applicable for BEKO ( found info online)

E1 – Freezer thermistor open circuit.
E2 – Freezer thermistor short circuit.
E3 – Fridge thermistor open circuit.
E4 – Fridge thermistor short circuit.
E7 – Evaporator thermistor open circuit.
E8 – Evaporator thermistor short circuit.
E9 – Temperature set switch open circuit
EA – No feedback from Baffle
EB – Fridge Baffle motor operating continuously
    EE – Defrost time out

Many Thanks in advance for your help

    Hi tamba,

I don’t know where you got those fault codes but they look to be wrong for that model. They may apply to others but, not that one by the looks of it.

E8 is an ice maker sensor failure according to what I can see for the Beko side by side fridge freezers that have water and ice.

Service manual not available, even from Beko.

Part number for the sensor that is being reported as faulty is 4344740285 which we can order but is shown as being out of stock.
