Hey all, hoping for some advice / confirmation as to how to repair the problem i have with the outward swinging main over door for my Beko BDVI668X cooker.

Simply, it swings fine, but has to be lifted to be closed. The catch and pin look fine and there is no adjustment that can be made there.
But on the hinge side the door seems lose, as in you can lift it up and down on the hinges.
As i say we have to lift the door for it to close shut, not a massive amount, just a few mm i would say.

I see nothing on the web about this issue, nor any instruction on how to remove the door.
But looking at the parts i would guess it’s the brush pins that need replacing, 1 or 2… is there even 2 i don’t know?

I guess to replace these you would remove the top hinge and lift the door off the bottom one?
The hinges look sound, no play in the screw fixings at all, so would guess the hinges themselves are not an issue and don’t need to be replaced?

Anyone with any experience of this problem able to direct me to the most probable cause and cheapest fix would be so much appreciated.

    Thank you so much

P.s tried taking a photo of the bottom hinge and door seems to be resting directly on it.

All sorted, took the door off this morning and indeed the bottom bush pin was worn.
I swapped the top and bottom ones over and door swings normally now, catching the latch fine.
Will order a couple of bush pins and they should see me for another 7 years….. replaced the heating element last year.
