Hi, I have exactly the same problem as is described in this post on a unit which is barely 2 years old … http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/forumsphpbb3/fridge-freezer-forum/beko-cda-543-frozen-fridge-compartment-photos-t79624.html?hilit=CDA539FW#p386990 and the post referenced from there.

I replaced the control circuit at the top right (left when viewed from rear) on the back of the unit but that did not fix it. Furthermore, the motor/pump at the bottom feels extremely hot to the touch (this may be normal, I don’t know).

I suspect that it’s basically a pile of scrap now but I’m trying a last desperate attempt to find out if there is anything else that could possibly be done to fix it so any help would be appreciated.

    Many thanks for your efforts

Forgot to add, the unit now has a clicking sound coming from the rear, not unlike the noise a small relay or thermostat makes. This noise wasn’t apparent before.

The clicking noise will be the thermal cut out on the compressor.

The compressor will be seized it can be replaced but would be beyond economical repair for your model.

Thanks Bob, I suspected that would be the case, and trust me not to get an extended warranty.

Anyone wanna buy 2 good circuit boards?
