    If anyone has one of these Beko Fridge-Freezer (FF) models with the same issue, here’s some info on how I fixed mine.

    A couple of other threads on here (albeit for different models) advised opening up a hole in the rear panel around 220mm down and 200mm in from the left but unfortunately I found nothing in or around this area. I then decided to replace the Freezer Evaporator Sensor (4394720185) just in case that one was causing the issue. The new Evaporator Sensor made no difference.

    So, back to looking for the Fridge Sensor, and after a lot of wiring loom chasing in the foam insulation, I eventually found the Fridge Sensor on the rear panel, buried in foam.

    In my case, looking at the rear panel, the Fridge Sensor was located 295mm Down from the Top and 275mm in from the Left Hand Side. This point is directly over the sensor.

    If you need to locate yours, it may be beneficial to first cut a narrow (say 10/20mm wide and 60/70mm long) exploratory Vertical slot in the foam about half way across the rear panel and centred on the 295mm Down measurement just to confirm the exact location of the sensor cable in case yours is at a slightly different distance from the top. When you find the cable, dig out the foam to the right of it and you should eventually find the Sensor and Housing Tube.
    I replaced this Sensor with another (4394720185).

    The old Sensor was cut off and the new one connected to the original cable using soldered joints. These soldered joints were then further insulated with the heat shrink parts that came with the sensor kit.

    The replacement sensor came with additional insulation moulded around the sensor head but there was no way it was going to fit into the mounting tube because of its thickness. I trimmed this insulation off only as far as the “shoulder” on the sensor body which allowed the sensor to fit snugly into the tube but still had the remaining insulation covering the area where the cable entered the sensor.

    All the remaining holes in the foam were refilled with expanding foam and trimmed flat. The original bits of rear panel trim were also refitted and finished off with a covering of Aluminium Tape to seal the joints.

    The FF has now been running for 5 days with the Fridge about 3C and the Freezer about -21 C.
    No condensation has formed on or around any of the repaired areas.

    Or just disconnect the sensor from the PCB. This puts the unit into a timed cycle instead?

    Don’t know anything about the “timed cycle” option so can’t really comment other than I would see doing that just as a temporary workaround until the sensor can be replaced.

    I just posted the sensor location details so anyone with the same model and issue could (hopefully) be able to go straight to it and not spend hours hunting for it like I did.
