Hi All,
Hoping to get some help with my Fridge Freezer – it is getting too cold.
With the fridge on the minimum (so warmest) setting, I’ll record temperatures below zero. With the compressor running a lot of the time – to be sure it does cut out though.
It’s a Beko CF5834APB with the typical control board same as – https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/4360620185-beko-fridge-freezer-control-module
I’ve accessed the control board and have taken some measurements:
KN2 – has the two pair going to it;
Black/Grey – Temperature dial; Min – 47.7k; Max – 118 — I would’ve expected this to mimic the temperature values of the NTC so was surprised by the values
Other pair – 66.6k — I assume this is the freezer sensor. At the time of reading, the freezer was around -10
KN3 – 29.8k — The in fridge temp; the fridge was around 2 degrees so there or thereabouts.
I’ve also checked the compressor and heater resistances with 27 and 330 ohms each, which seems about right.
So, with the above considered, the only value that really surprises me is that of the temperature dial (again, I expected the values over its travel to represent the setpoint of the NTC in ohms) however it seems a little odd for a pot to fail in this way so am not convinced
Any help would be appreciated,
Ron
