This dryer runs for about 5 seconds when you press start and then just stops. Turn it off and back on again and it starts again and then stops. Relay on board? Is this a known fault?
    Any help please?

    Thanks

Check the obvious, that condenser is locked in tightly, that water is not over full, drain pump seized etc.

Just like to add ,check the float switch at the back near pump .Make sure it is seated correctly and is operating as it should.Had one that did the same thing and found that float switch was not seated right (dryer was un even on floor so not sure if it was disturbed with movement ,reseated and operated switch a few times with my finger on the metal part of the switch and been working perfectly ever since).

Double checked everything on this machine. Condensor clicked in correctly, float chamber empty and float switch working correctly as is the pump, even tried new capacitor on motor. Put machine in test mode and heaters and pump comes on but motor does not. Insulation test on motor ok. Strange that the motor runs for a few seconds and then stops.
