KeymasterI have a Beko cooker model DVC 6531 with a fan assisted oven every thing works on it apart from the fact the main oven does not get warm, the fan works but no heat. Any suggestions

It’s pretty certain the fan element will have failed.
Not a major repair, the element is around £20, if you need help finding a repairer, pop your postcode up as someone here should be able to oblige 😀

Do you ever get a problem with water on the floor after cooking in the small top oven of your cooker. I recently got the same cooker as you and always have puddles of water at the 2 front corners after using the oven. The manual says there may be droplets of water, but not puddles. I don’t know if I’ve got a faulty cooker or if this is a design fault.

Its probably condensation. Is your kitchen really cold? Dont know of a problem on this cooker but MFI had a problem with an oven recently and do a mod kit for it but it will still produce condensation under certain circumstances.

I’ve seen this quite a few times, it’s caused by condensation which all cooking processes will create.
Could I ask how old the cooker is please ?
I would also suggest a letter to Beko customer services, you should find the contact details on http://www.beko.co.uk

The cookers only 4 months old. The kitchen can be quite cold because the back doors open a lot for the dog. An engineer has been out and said he can’t find a problem, I’ve called Beko and asked for a replacement cooker and if another one done the same I wanted a different model. Beko have decided to send another engineer, he’s coming on Thursday.

Hi again, eventually got the engineer up to see cooker again, he never even needed to look at it said he would put in a report to Beko saying its excess condensation. I got in touch with Beko and apparently they have a part which they’re sending me then I phone the engineer and he comes out and fits it and that should solve the problem. Dunno why they don’t just put this part in anyway.
