ParticipantBeko DE3431FW dishwasher. Flood tray was full so emptied. Now it fills then nothing happens. Circulation motor seems ok. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Hi had a similar problem recently, one of my workmates ordered a side tank for a similar fault because it doesnt seem to get to fill level, I went fitted tank still the same. I select a prog it drains then fils for exactly 30 seconds and thats it, reducing the flow to see if it took longer still gave a 30 sec fill, have ordered a pcb, havent been back yet to fit it so not sure if that will rectify it or not. 😕

Thanks Cab, be interested to hear how you get on. Customer will probably wait if there’s hope of accurate diagnosis. Simon.

Got a Beko DWD4310W with same fault. Fills to what looks like correct level then stops dead. Customer said it will start filling again after a few minutes of sitting idle until it finally overfills and trips the fps. in the base.
Heater, ntc, circ mtr, pump all checked OK. Looked at board – no visible damage. Going to order board from Connect @ £12 or so (that’s more affordable than Bosch).
Cab, if you’re around, what happened with yours?

not sure but i think i had a problem with one of these and there was a flow meter which caused this problem? 😕 just disconnected and cleaned terminal and then sorted!

Spot on Galway. For reasons of forgetfulness 😳 I didn’t go back to this one till today. Disconnected flow thing, squeezed plug and reconnected and it worked fine. If I was buying a dishwasher I’d get one of these. Does the job just like a Bosch but is much easier and cheaper to fix when it goes wrong.
Thanks to Galway and smartin.

Thanks for that Galway. This one is a DWD4310, I was using this thread to avoid starting a new one. (Waste not want not 😆 ). So I’ve put a “temperature probe” ready on my next order from connect. (Special order product. Oh dear.)

Actually, decided not to wait for the interminable time that an OOS part might take and just try a new board (only £12 trade). Fitted it today and it’s now working again.(Touch wood). When pulling old board out, flimsy ribbon cable broke off from it’s solder connections at board. I’m thinking I might have damaged that when taking a look on first visit. 😳
