Can anyone help, my Beko D2731FW slimline dishwasher is stuck at the beginning of it’s cycle, drain pump runs continuously but nothing else happens even if the dial is moved on! Is there a water level sensor or something, and if so where is it?

The drain pump is running because the tray under the machine is full of water. Towels down, pull the plug and slowly and gently lean the machine back. When the water stops running out, the flood protection system will reset allow the machine to restart. Be advised that if it happens again, you have a leak to find.

Thanks Penquin45 you were spot on. Now the problem has moved on, the water in the tray is coming from 2 pipes at the front of the machine, as if the machine is overfilling? Any more suggestions!

Machine overflows without any detergent, it overflows like a tap being left on!

    Re: Beko D2731FW Dishwasher

In that case you have some sort of failure in the water level control system. This works by the displacement of air from a chamber into a diphragm switch. The chamber is possibly blocked or the switch itself may have failed.

Power off before sticking fingers in……..

Took everything apart, cleaned it all, put it all back together and now it’s working fine. Until whatever it was comes back. Thanks for your help.
