It’s quite old so just changed it to be safe. Was covered in dust etc. Then I changed the interference filter after. Not sure element was broken

this can be a number of things including the main board. have had the relays fail occasionally

does it start and not heat or not start at all ?

It starts and operates fine other than no heat. In the dryer it gets a little warm but nothing of note

well with the heat there are 2 poss things i can think

1 you are imagining it and its not heating at all
2 the lower power element is coming on but the higher one is not

we need to figure out which
run the dryer for 5 mins or so and then stop it and put your hand on the back wall inside the drum. if its heating at all this should feel warm

if its warm then the possiblilty is the board is not turning the main element on. I would now check the relays on the board for bad solder joints

Defo warm at the back. Warm in the whole drum to an extent. I still have the old element. Could swap back?

I have left it running and then it has just stopped. Says filter or water tank are full, but they are clear.

cant look at the tech on this one Beko site seems to have a server problem

but i would look at the pump and water sensor. there will be a float or electronic sensor in the water collection tank at the bottom

before you do this just check the heater thermal cutout
