had two consecutive Beko jobs the other day.
    1. washer dryer all off. i replaced the usual diode and away she went.
    2. next job was the above condenser dryer. it was all off as well. traced continuity all the way to the main pcb so decided to remove it and check the diodes. all appear to be okay. ive since been through the power section of the board and tested all the components i can identify. there are some i cant identify. the fuse resistor is okay as is the appearance of the power chip (not blown apart)

anyway does anyone have an idea which of the components could be causing this. I know a new board is only fifty or so. i have now acquired this dryer and im in no real hurry.

    thanks

power the board up on the bench

first check the high voltage cap. you should get 300v dc or there abouts. if you have not then check components before this again , resistor, sometimes an inductor etc. if anything blown chang chip as well

then find a low voltage cap and see if you have any voltage. if you have none try changing the power chip. they do fail witthout blowing something

if you get a voltage that comes and goes then another chip on the board has fried. the power chips have “fold back” which means if they detect an over current they shut down and reset
