    HI

Ok so to start with I am a moron. plain and simple.
The button panel on our beko dryer broke (the switch return part) simple enough and cheap enough to replace. Being a moron though i disconnected the On / off push switch to get to it and didn’t note down or photograph which colour wires went to which connection on the switch.

I have tried what it think to be all of the possible ways but as soon a splug it in and press the on button it pops the fuse and the RCD.

PLEASE does anyone know which bloody way round these wires go?!?!?!?

have looked at the tech info and they dont list colours or connections for this switch

you need to find someone who can use a multimeter to buzz through the connections. once you find the pairs of connections that go together you can avoid putting the mains on the same side

so the feeds from the mains need to be on opposing sides? i can see that two wires come in off the mains brown (assume live) and orange. should these be on opposing sides then?

Cheers Dave, looked at it again and put the mains wires to the bottom connections and the output wires ot the top connections and working perfect. Lesson learned always note the wires even if i think i can remember just 4 wires! thanks again Dave
