    hi has anyone experience of fitting the small belt on these.. does the full drum have to come out to remove fan cover to slide over motor shaft ? thanks

    Remove rear fan and front fan cover. Remove motor fixings and you can slide the motor out. You can then fit the belt and pulley out of the machine

    I’ve never had to take out the motor, all can be done through opening of vent outlet.

    I’ll try that next time seamy. Although it was quite easy this way

    makes sense taking out motor as there is no room to feed the belt over the shaft with the housing on ?

    if its the one Im thinking of it comes as a belt pulley kit. I thought to take the drum out but you can take the motor out (side panel off fan off) I took off more than I needed but the next will be much easier not too bad a job

    :boops: Sorry lads, my mistake this is condenser version, I was thinking about the vented version
