ParticipantThis machine works well but sticks in all programs and will not stop. It heats up and drains water to the tank. Any ideas before I change the main control board.

When you say it will not stop, some have anti-crease function that continues to turn drum every 30 sec’s or so when program has ended. May not be a faault. Sticking in programmes, does it heat, not heat, not turn?? There is diagnostics for them, but meter the heater first, i’ve come across many of them with heater down to earth at NTC of heater, mostly caused by dampness from not cleaning the condenser.

The machine just consistently heats up and turns sticking in its program. The only program that will stop is the timed programs.

Elaborate on what you mean by “sticking in its program”?
Does it stop heating & turn only once every few minutes for another 2 hours with end/anti crease led flashing or lit?
This is how appliance should function and is not a fault.
Its normally not faulty unless 2 l.e.ds flash together, if that happens please post which flash.November 26, 2013 at 7:20 pm #405138Taff

When any of the cotton or synthetic programmes are selected it consistently heats and turns and the cloths are tinder dry. I will ask the customer to reuse the machine to confirm if there are any flashing lights.

I managed to get back to this job today. I can confirm that the machine consistently remains in the drying cycle turning consistently with the heater on, with the start and drying light on (not flashing) I have meggered the heater and got a result of over 10meg. You mentioned about diagnostics I would appreciate any info. Regards Taff

Have you tried cleaning the humidity sensor? This determines if the washing being dried is dry. Open the door and wipe the metal sensors with a soft cloth dampened with vinegar and then dry them.
