Need advice on this slimline D/W. machine is dead. when pushing the on/off switch nothing happens, there is 240v going into switch, so I put a bridge accross both live & neg cables to override it, but this only blew fuse (short circuit).
It appears this switch is not a stright forward on/off type..
any advice please..!!

Looking at wiring diagram, looks like normal on/off switch and would think it could be switch or probably board at fault
