Beko DFN05R11S Using too much salt

Hi,

My Beko dishwaher (18 months old) started using hardly any salt for a few months, but now uses all the salt in the pot in 1 wash. The salt pot lid is in good condition and seals well. Should I just purchase a new Water Softener Assembly? Are they a pain to fit?

sounds like the regeneration valve may be stuck open or its being energised when it should not be

its a valve on the side of the water softner

Thanks Dave, I’ll look in to getting just the valve rather than the whole unit.

but if you remove it, it may just have jammed open

but you may not need it as it may have jammed
