Beko DIN15X10 DW – drain pump access

I need to get the drain pump off as I suspect it’s blocked. Leaked on the floor, base full. Removed water from the base, reset and now when I try to get it to run ta mains hum from drain pump.

Very little access from the front. A shallow 2 inch opening. You wouldn’t be able to replace it from the from but there’s enough room to remove it and refit it.

The problem is I can’t get the pump off the base. There does appear to be a lug ?? that I can see but it’s not moving despite despressing the lug? Are there two or more lugs on this or do I have to remove the the appliance? I didn’t want to force it too much.

It’s a real pita to remove, I know I fitted it 5 years ago.

Any Beko boys advice would be appreciated.

lock is at the top and has to be lifted not pushed

look up pump [h=3]1740301000[/h]
and look for pics to see the lock
