    Hi all,

My Beko DIS16R10 is refusing to start. There’s no water pooled in the bottom and I’ve rinsed the sensor below the filters in case it was that.

The switches are capacitive touch and I’m not certain the start/stop button is registering input.

The user manual allows for water hardening adjustment using a combination of keys + the start button and this won’t work, so perhaps it isn’t working.

I’ve tried holding it down for 3/7/10 seconds, unplugging for a minute, with no obvious reset taking place.

I’ve attached a video so you can see this happening.

If anyone knows what I should clean/replace it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

you would have to strip it and see

it may not be touch buttons but small tactile switches

if you remove the panel and check. there seems to be an electronic panel underneath where the switches are

look for water damage, bad connections etc

They’re definitely touch on this model at least, PCB inside looks absolutely fine, it’s so tiny there’s no chance I can test the pins for the start switch to see if it’s registering.

I can’t imagine it’s an insanely expensive part but no website seems to just sell the buttons for this one.

if the panel has failed then looks like touch circuit comes with the top panel

got part no but no one has sold one anywhere

you can check the loom as its not uncommon to break wires as they leave the bottom of the door
