    Hi,

I have a slimline beko 450 dishwasher which won’t work at all. The lights on the control/buttons panel are all on (green) and won’t let me select a programme so I can’t use the machine. I’ve read this could be an issue with either the display board or the PCB control panel. Is there a way to test which one is causing the problems so I can purchase and replace the correct part?

Many thanks in advance for any help!

Hold in the start / cancel button for about 5 seconds & if fault doesn’t clear one of the two p.c.bs or both of them may be faulty.

    Hi Seamy,

Thanks for your reply. I tried holding the start/cancel buttons but nothing happens. Also tried unplugging, leaving and then restarting but nothing. So I guess it’s the PCB board/boards – is there anyway of telling which it is? Which I replace?

Thank you for any help you can offer

Not really, i’d be replacing them both to be sure, the indication one under where the buttons for selecting the programs would be cheaper of the two, try it first.
Power off of course & watch out for razor sharp edges of stainless steel when doing work on it.
Unfortunately its not listed on here in the shop, but the other main p.c.b is..

    Hi Seamy,

I went ahead and just ordered the main control panel as per the link you gave me – I’m fixing it now however…! I can’t get the heater/door lock connection out of its socket on the board. It’s stuck in there so tight, I’ve tried pliers etc but now I’m worried I’m going to start damaging bits if I force it. Am I missing something, a little release clip?! Should I just split the socket to release it?
I’ve added a pic so you can see what I mean
Thanks for all your help 🙂
