    Hi,

Our dishwasher has started heating up. It seems to run as normal. I can hear the water rinsing the dishes & it’s draining fine.

However, the dishes are wet & there was significant grease build up in the drain. After running drain cycles, I’ve just noticed that it does not appear to heat up.

Whats the most likely fault? Heating element, thermostat? If so, are they fairly easy to access for an enthusiastic amateur? Are the parts easy to obtain?

Thanks in advance for all advice and help offered.

it is most likely the heater but you would have to check

access is not too bad from front and taking off bottom tray

heater is on right hand side on the hose leading to the wash motor

effectively 2 hoses with clips and 3 wires

Thanks – I’ll take it off and test it.
