Beko Dishwasher din29x20

Trips out the mains when plugging in, megger shows short to earth. You would think this would be easy but after disconnecting everything one by one starting with element and motor the short is still there. Have checked wires in the lower door area and they look ok but then this dishwasher is only just over one year.
Any ideas?

have you checked supressor ?

is this integrated
if yes its a 2 year guarentee
they say you have to register it but you could push them and act dumb

did you check the plug or suppressor I have had a couple of Bekos where the fitted plug had shorted

Thanks but yes I have checked the plug lead and mains filter along with everything else, this one’s a rear pain.

Probably the led light that shines onto the floor this has caught me out 😉

And this has caused the machine to trip out when plugging it in before even turning it on?

Yes it has water gets in the neon some are available with just the loom fir neon some are complete harness just cut the wires to neon you have nothing to loose as you can remake wires

Many thanks for your help, it just turns out a came across another one of these today that was tripping out as soon as its plugged in so I went straight to the neon light and you are right. Thank you for your help again.
