I wouldn’t normally post this without visiting the machine. I have not worked on Beko dishwasher before, so the fault description is that it starts but not going through the program.

Is there anything I need to look out for and what are the most common faults with this particular machine?

If it fills but does not wash then the flow meter is probably faulty. Its accessed in the side of the machine near the solonoid.

    This should help

Select program position 2 while the DW is off then press the start button and energize the DW and keep pressing on the button for 3 seconds.
All of the indicators turns on for 2 seconds after entering the test mode.
After entering the short program mode, press “start” button and begin for the short program. Short program follows the steps below.
    1. Draining (15 seconds)
    2. Water inlet (4.4 lt)
    3. Water circulation , regeneration (60 sn),
    4. Detergent (60 sn), heating (to 65° C) .
    5. After reaching 65° , stops heating and water circulation. The water inside is discharged for 30 seconds.
In the case of any fault formation, the fault is shown by the program following lights. :
All lights are off No fault
Washing light is on Water inlet or water counter is faulty
End light is on NTC is faulty
Both lights are on Heater is faulty
All of the lights blink after the functional test finishes in the case of no fault occurred

Turned out that the pipe connecting from sump to condensing came loose. Could not explain why this happened.

Secured it with debor and screw clamp. Looks like it back in working order.

Dishwasher looks simple enough to work on but there are too many screws! The worse thing is they use two different types of screws, why can’t they keep it the same throughout?

i tried that but it does not work. do I hold it down the start button or keep pressing within three seconds? Do I press the power button on while holding down the start button?

From what you described looks like a reset mode and it appears to do just that.
