Beko dishwasher lower arm not spinning

Hi there,

I have a Beko Din28r22 dishwasher and the lower arm isn’t spinning. I’ve checked the holes in the arm and cleaned the filter but no joy. Any ideas? The top arms is spinning fine.

there is a valve in the sump that has a rotating disc on it. its job is to aim the water flow from one bar to another. sometimes its aimed at the top bar and sometimes the lower. if you open the door you may be on the top bar part of the cycle so it may seem the bottom bar is not moving

these valves can fail so can the wires feeding it so it wont work and it may be stuck aimed at whatever bar it failed at

Thanks Dave. I’m pretty sure that no water is getting to the lower bar at any point during the cycle. Sounds like this might be one for an engineer.
