Beko dishwasher smells of paraffin

Hi,

My Beko dishwasher, model: DIN15R11;

• smells strongly of paraffin
• the tablet tray will not close
• the seal around the rinse aid filler flap is distorted and no longer fits.

Is there any part which is filled with paraffin / white spirit? It feels as if something has leaked a fluid that has gone on to attack soft seals in the machine – but that is an uneducated guess of course.

Can anyone help?

to my knowledge there is nothing in the dishwasher can cause this
