    Hi,
I have a Beko DL1243W that stopped during a wash cycle (wash led light on) – it left the machine full of water. Tried to cancel the program by pressing the start/stop button for more than 3 seconds but it failed to respond. Powered the machine off and then back on and a ‘pump’ started up (the start/stop button had not been touched) leaving it to run it did not drain the water but stopped after about 5 mins. This happens every time the machine is switched on, the only led light on is the power light. Pressing the start/stop button does not appear to do anything at all.
I have looked for an error code but have not been able to find any info for this on the net, so I am unable to provide any.
I have drained the machine manually and checked the filter, and spray arms etc – all ok.
    Any ideas.
    Cheers, Nigel

Nigel, sounds like there has been an overspill of water or leak into the base of appliance activating the float switch which will run pump continuously. Perhaps theres a blockage in pump or drain hose etc.

Power off if doing any investigating

    Cheers Seamy,
Found water in the machine base, now to find the cause.
    Thanks
