    Hi folks

Know you all on an Easter break so have a good one but if any one looks at this post just wondered if any one else had a similar problem with one of these.

Looks like the m/c is not heating long enough as only on for about 2 mins before the stat trips out and it completes the program.

It looks like just a stat operated sensor system but have tried with damp washing and it is still the same. I suspect that either the sats are out or more likely the air flow is restricted. Have checked condenser which was pristeen and considering the custmer had not had it open for six months as the cover had been jammed in was quite suprising – checked the rest of the venting system and the appears to be no blockages or fluff build up on the front fan.

Any suggestions to the likely cause to this problem. Is there another unobivious compartment somewhere that may have blocked up?

Just another pequliarity which might be relevent – the heater only comes on at full heat for a few seconds on inital start up then works at half heat till it trips out – again pointing to a air flow problem?

Thanks – any input appreciated as not been to one of these Beko m/c before.

    Hi Mick

Have had similar problem with Beko condensor drier. Not sure if same model but think that there is a known issue with the drum paddle design. Is it the drier with the ‘sensing strips along the front just on the inside of the door ? If so the paddles would push clothes towards back of drum and away from sensing strips, hence it thinks garments are dry and stops, but infact they are still damp!!!

There is a thread on here somewhere about it.

    Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply Steve – must admit didnt notice if there were sensing strips round the door – placing them there is a new one on me 😯 – that would seem to boode for alsorts of problems with small loads anyway not reaching the strip.

So presumably all the wiring for the sensing strip would go through or by the door hinge to get to the control module – hmmmm…..

wonder if I can get the customer to look for the strip and let me know to save a return visit at this time? – Is it faily obvious if you are looking for it?

    Thanks

    Hi Mick

Yes, they are very obvious, about 3″ long. Just get customer to poke head in drum and have a look for you.

Sensor strips are inside the drum at the front bottom of the front duct. Clean with a couple of drops of vinegar on some paper towel. Also raise the rear of the machine very slightly so the clothes tend to drop towards the front of the drum.

I have sometimes found that the board can cause this problem.
