Hi, I have a BEKO DRCS76B that does not heat, I ordered a replacement heater assembly which comes with the thermostats, I fitted it and switched it back on and still no heat. So I looked into it and someone said I need to replace the NTC device that is found at the front of the drum next to the light. It comes just with a long earth lead attached. I fitted this all excited and switched it on and it is still not heating, it is rotating OK and all the buttons seems to operate.

    Anyone have any ideas please.

Are you sure you’re getting a feed to the heater?

    Hi kwatt,

Umm my dad said so as he accidentally touched the side of the heater frame and got a a belt from it and it tripped the RCD. I have a digital multimeter what terminals should I check and what am I expecting to read? AC/DC etc

Getting a belt from it unfortunately doesn’t prove anything apart from the obvious of not working on it live. I wouldn’t go poking around with a test meter unless you know what you’re looking for. Call a local engineer
