The dryer will run anti clockwise for say 20 seconds and both elements come on. there is a click and the dryer then goes clockwise and the elements remain off for every cycle

Sensor bar fault should’nt effect all programs, only the sensor dry ones, it should work on timed drying o.k even with a faulty sensor bar.

thanks for getting back to me, it is still playing up, i have changes the elements , cleaned about everything i can, still not getting hot help !!!!!!!!!!

Theres a low temperature switch on the front, make sure its not selected, e/g lit, if it was selected dryer runs only on 1/2 heat.
N.T.C controls heating during drying with sensor under door switching off when degree of dryness is achieved.
Problems with poor heating could be attributed to blocked fan, blocked ducting or filters, or even on the outlet grill on outside of wall where vented air exhausts.
P.C.B could be at fault but this should be last resort to change.

the model doesn’t have a low temp button, all the venting seems free, i have cleaned the sensor just inside the drum and the one just inside the fascia
