Beko Dryer – Live connector off

Is anyone able to give me a reason for the live connector being completely disconnected in the tumble dryer? I’ve attached a photo. The dryer tripped the electric on day. I was going to throw it away but had a quick look under the top and now I’ve reconnected it the dryer is functioning.

I just cannot understand how it would have been off. We have moved the dryer upstairs (a while ago) and it is a few years old.

Surely there’s not an eject on it?!
