Beko dryer overheating

    hi this dryer mod no DTGC8001W Has overheated the thermistor is melted its only 18 mnths old i suspect its just a heater assembly replacement but wondering if its more, any help appreciated thanks john

    Hi Dave its jhames@blueyonder,co,uk by the way are all dryer thermistors similar i would like to try just changing it thanks John

    Thanks Dave i appreciate that however the thermistor i was refering to is the one on the heater assembly you normally have to buy the whole thing i am hoping to get a thermistor ( ntc ) only , thanks again John

    if you look at the parts list they list 2 thermistors

    1457 is the front one but they also list 1741 but dont know where that one is

    if you look at the heater 2976680600 the stats are fixed by bent loops of metal so they wont supply a spare where things could break fixing it

    The manual seem to give resistance values so you should be able to check them
