Can anybody help please this dryer the one shot had tripped i reset, and tested the machine it will start and run for about 25 to 30 secs then stop and reverse and continue like this with no heat i have checked the element and stats, the cycling stat reads about 230ohms but i presume this may be a thermistor can anybody help please JJ

If its an NTC the value should change with temperature ( so even putting it in palm of your hand will change reading), usually its in the K’ohms, have you found out why it went out on overtemperature? Worth testing of any of the heater ‘stats or sensors are down to earth, this is one of the main reasons of heater & board failure on them!
If you go to the plug connection of heater you should be able to test complete element.

Ive tested the element it tested okay i suspect it was a choked condensor as the customer cleaned every thing when it stopped working, she said it was taking ages to dry recently before it packed in,
