Evening all, was looking for some assistance on my Beko DSC64W tumble dryer, it trips the kitchen out when I switch it on. Have tried cleaning filters and vents this hasn’t stopped it. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

first thing to look at is the element. check for water ingress. broken element that may touch the metal. some of the early elements the NTC which is a round stat on top of the element has a habit of shorting to earth causing this

There was a fair amount of water under the panel,i have tried to attach some images but can’t as they are too big.
Is there anyway I could test the element?
    Thanks for your reply Dave

dry it out with a hair dryer put the panel on with 2 or 3 screws and see if it runs

if yes it may need a good clean out. fluff builds up at the back of the condenser or the water is not draining properly so its ending up getting into the element

    Afternoon,

I’ve now tried this, it has stopped the tripping of the kitchen, but it now starts for 10 seconds then cuts out. Then starts for 10 and stops again. Have you heard of this before?
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks
