    Hi
Tumble Dryer went kaput so opened in up to have a look and saw that a wire had rubbed against the drum, causing it to break. Where the power comes in it gets split into a white plastic box which they go through and where they connect into the power supply for the dryer. It is the brown wire that has broken where it has rubbed against the drum.
However I am trying to track down how to find the part(s) to replace this as it is this that is causing the problem. I tried to upload a picture showing this but it says I can only upload 19kb.
    Any help gratefully received..

not sure which part has broken. if its the wire as an engineer I would just join it and clip it out of the way

    Hi
Yes I had the same idea also however the break is between the wire and the end of it there is a plastic connector that slots into a metal connector alongside the other wires coming in. It is just this part I need to get so that I can join. I opened it up to see as I could’nt get the wire out of it.
Inside the wire goes into the plastic connector and splits into two circular metal bits.. If I can work out what this is and get it I can do the rest myself.

not quite sure what u mean but this is how I read it

you have a wire that has rubbed through after having come in contact with the revolving drum. This wire must have rubbed through at least an inch from and connector so u have plenty of length to add a connector

link does not seem to work

I am assuming its the wire from the interference suppressor
