I’m looked at one of theses dryers. The machine switches on but when you push start nothing happens. I’ve checked the door lock heater and motor and they all seem ok. I’ve only got 120 volts to the door lock. I suspect the pcb. Has anyone had anything similar

120v does seem very odd. normally only get 120v when you lose a neutral or the like

I assume now you have checked the child lock is not activated

Yeah I’ve checked the child lock. I’ve checked resistance through door lock and motor. Also if you try access the test function nothing happens all the lights still flash

by the looks of the wiring diag its not a direct connected door switch it tell the pcb its closed so you might well get weird voltages on it. measure from the pcb on resistance see of it operates. assume you checked pcb for track damage
remember some models of Beko dryer have a switch on the condenser dont think this one does

from what seems to be going on it does sound like the pcb

There is 120 volts coming out of the pcb to the door lock. The rest ancestors checks ok. Would it make a difference if the lamp doesn’t work think the bulb has gone as there is power to it

as far as i know the blown lamp should not make a difference. i cannot see Beko designing something where a blown lamp stops it
