I have a 4 year old tumble dryer that recently started turning over for a minute, stopping and starting again repeatedly without ever heating up. I replaced the heater element at the rear of the machine and it now completes the cycle but still does not heat up. Without an exploded diagram, no help from Beko direct and their approved parts people, I am struggling to identify the front thermostat for this model. Is it the small metal post below the lint filter in the front of the machine (listed as an NTC Thermistor SKU2971900100), if it is, how can I access it? Please note I have removed the front, back and side panels, cleaned and hoovered everything, front panel looks more complex to remove. Or am I looking at the wrong thing altogether, please help.

Thanks Dave, is this a common NTC to fail and is it an easy job to replace it? ie do I just remove the front panel?

they can fail but its best to check it with a meter

2 part numbers listed but I don’t know why may be dependant on make of NTC

    2971900300 & 2971900200
