ParticipantBeko heat pump dryer is not drying clothes. Have checked filters, air flow, heater, pump, etc and all is fine. When running, the condenser pump only seems to run for a short period of time. Is this likely to be a thermostat fault or the condenser or condenser pump? Any thoughts kindly appreciated. Additionally, does anyone know where i could access the format of the test routine for this? I can get into it, but cannot get out of the drum test cycle. Many thanks

ParticipantThanks for the reply, Kwatt. Yes, it heats up fine. The air flow is fine, the condenser is clearand clean, but I’m getting no water in the tray. Some build up before the condenser. There is what I think is the condenser pump which kicks in for a second or two, but that’s all. I would have expected more. Am I looking at a failed thermistor?

KeymasterIf it’s heating and not giving an error then it’s a bit of a puzzler as even if the pump were not working you’d expect it to error out.
My advice would be to get into it and see if there’s any sort of blockage to or from the pump before you do anything. I think on this one, you’re only going to work it out by looking and trying to figure it out.

ParticipantThanks again Kwatt. The NTC thermistor is only reading 6k at room temp and drops to 4k with a 40c increase, so I’m wondering if it’s that, as there’s no obvious blockage. Very frustrating this one! Cheers

ParticipantHi.
I appreciate that this is an old post, but no resolution to the issue has been posted.
Obviously, I come across this article because my Beko heat pumped dryer (same model number) is suffering from the same symptoms, heating up but not condensing the moisture and pumping it into the collector. I also have a small pool of water on the floor just under front of the condenser.Did anything resolve this issue.
