    Hi
I hope someone can help me. My friend has the Beko Oven DV5631 and the oven now has a problem. The hob and grill work with no problem. The fan is working but there is no heat in the oven itself. It sounds like the oven element is at fault. Does this sound right to you? If so, does anyone know where we can get the part from and how much it costs?
    Thanks
    Gayle

My oven has just developed the same fault in the last couple of days.

Is there any chance that it’s the thermostat that’s gone and not the element?

I don’t want to order a new element if there’s the change it’s not the root cause of the problem.

It does seem like it’s the element that is faulty though.

Check resistance through element to be sure.

Re: Beko DV5631 Double Electric Oven

What sort of reading should I be looking at through the element?

Should it just be a closed circuit like a working fuse?

25-30 ohms would be acceptable with teh element split from the circuit.

    Stay safe, power off, first.
