beko dvc62 electric oven problem

Hi all

I have a beko dvc62 electric oven,we have just moved house and fitted in the oven into the new house and now the front 2 hobs and digital display are now not working.

I have removed the ceramic hob cover and there is four wires from each hob going to the hob controls,then there is a single white wire going to the control knob and also a single black wire but this one is not connected to anything,i’m not sure if i have distured this wire when lifting the top off.

I have checked the rest of the oven and the rear two hobs work the grill and the oven still work, i also noticed the hob lights on the top don’t work either.

I hope some one can solve this for me as we have family down to stay in less than a week, and cooking with two rings will not be much fun 🙁

sounds like you have a problem with the mains cable terminal block.make sure its connected properly, and links (if any ) are in place ,of course, make sure you turn power off before putting tools/ fingers in,,,,

Thanks for your reply i will have a look later on,the appliance was connected the same way as in the old house,would this cause my symptons of only the 2 front rings not to work?

I didn’t touch any of the links only the positive,negative and earth wires.
