Hi I am having a problem with a beko bdvc667w double oven.
The main oven is not working in any way, no heat or no fan or no light on front panel
The top oven grill and the top rings are working as are the lights against each ring or top oven.
    The main display is blank.
Any help would be much appreciated

For the main oven, which should be the fan oven, there’s the timer, switch and thermostat and that’s about it.

The top oven shows a safety stat against it, this one:

But I’m not sure that’s wired to be energised when the main oven is on, although I would have expected it to be. The wiring diagram’ s a bit odd.

I’d check the safety stat but, if that’s okay, then it’ll probably be either the function selector switch or the timer itself that’s faulty.

The fault occured during main oven operation.
I have removed the back cover of oven and where the two white wires connect to the safety stat there is signs of brown on wires.
I thought this may mean that the safety thermostat had blown.
If so could you please confirm which part no I would need as my model is not listed in the compatibility lists.

The overheat stat they show for the main oven, mounted top right looking from the front, is this one:

A simple continuity check will show it faulty, it should be closed.

I would go for the safety stat. Easy to test with a meter.
