We purchased a beko DVN04X20W_WH last year.

It’s recently started making a noise(like something is rubbing in the pump at the start and end of the cycle when the water is being drained. The cycle completes ok

I’ve looked at the filter in the base (the perforated metal panel, plastic filter and mesh) and can’t see anything.

Is there anything else to check as an end user before calling Beko out?

it could be in the pump itself

to check that you would have to remove the pump

I notice that end the end of the cycle there is still a little water in the bottom of the filter when removed.

Also if I understand the cap marked salt a little water comes from this.

Is this normal, or is this the machine struggling to drain properly?

The machine is still under warranty so don’t want to take it apart, but also don’t want to miss something obvious that doesn’t need an engineer
