beko dw450 integrated dishwasher wont fill

My wife accidentally put a washing machine tablet in the dishwasher :boops: . We noticed as soon as it started to bubble and switched it off. We have cleaned it out and it managed to run through a rinse cycle once. However now it wont fill. I can pour water into it and it drains fine. It makes a humming sound like it is trying to fill but nothing happens.

Any idea what I can try other than calling an engineer?!

Other than leaving it to stand for a day or two and try again, not really. 🙁

Well, it’s broken something then in all likelihood that will require diagnosis and repair.

An expensive mistake I’m afraid.
