Beko DW603 Filling but not starting cycle.

Hi, Thanks in advance for reading and trying to help.

Above dishwasher 8yrs old.

When starting cycle drain pump constantly pumping. Took front bottom plate off and water in the base. Mopped that out and reset machine. Checked fault codes which appeared very odd……..solid P1 P3 P6 all together but not flashing. Couldnt find any infor about solid fault codes.

Now with base dry when you start a cycle it fills with water and then nothing. No spraying no cycle. Leave it few mins and more water fills. I’m currently running through a full short cycle but no spraying or washin?

Any help or ideas very much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I’ve just checked it again. It’s not warmed up and seems to have flooded in base again. Just seems to fill periodically with water and nothing else? Haven’t left it to finish the cycle as don’t want kitchen to flood!

you wont flood the kitchen , that what the float stops, so all that happens is the pump starts and it aborts the programme

if it is flooding underneath you need to get a good torch and watch underneath as it runs to see where the leak is

So I ran the full Quick Wash cycle…….well!

it drained and then filled as normal then nothing. Nothing nothing nothing. Not a sound, no motor no whirring and as far as I can tell no heating. As before after about 5 / 10 mins it added more water. Then again another 5 / 10 more water and then a third time around the half hour mark and the tray started flooding underneath. I could not for the life of me see where from. No draining though! By this point I guessed the water must be above the door level given there is no water movement inside and that the flooding is the overflow rather than a leak??

The cycle should take 30 mins and after 40 mins I cracked open the door and pressed the reset button to drain. I’ve bailed out the base again and now back to square one.

Think its going to have be an engineer but thank you very much if anything makes sense and you have a suggestion.
