Hi I have a Beko DWD 4311W dishwasher which is about 10 years old but has had little use as it’s in a holiday let.

Turning on the power via the on / off button on front panel and the on led does not light. Machine will not start (not surprisingly).

I have measure the voltage at the power switch, 240V on input side, 0V with switch off on output side. Switch on and 240V on output. Not sure where it goes from there but appears to go via door switch to control unit behind the function selector knob.

I’ve had the bottom off and there is no separate power supply that I can see.

I’m assuming it’s going to be the control unit at fault, but is there anything else I can check?

    Thanks

Ok so the on/off swt works. At a guess it could be the D7 diode ( if fitted ) on the pcb that is shot or one of the capacitors has snuffed it . pcb is part number 1784000130 but I advise you to double treble check that number and the board first, any domed capatitors is a sure sign . The pcb should not be that expensive ( the trade price is around 30 quid plus vat ) even less if you can replace just the offending component. Beko dishwashers are somewhat famed for broken wire/s in the door loom at the bottom where the loom goes underneath to the various components so maybe good idea to check there too.

    board part no is correct

you need to make sure live and neutral is getting to the board and open and look for damage
