Hi there I have a Beko dwd4311s dishwasher that the drain pump was constantly running, took the machine out, removed the lower panel and found the anti flood switch not activated but burnt out and smoking so ordered a new one and fitted today.

Now when put on the start of the cycle the drain pump will kick in at the beginning sometimes but then no pulses to signify water entering the machine I took the side panel off and can only see a trickle of water entering clear bottle thing, could this mean a faulty solenoid inlet valve ?

    Any help would be great

    Cheers

did you turn the water off to the machine ?

we get a lot of the taps going faulty where the plastic top moves but it does not turn the tap on due to wear

you need to find where that water came from.

    is the valve leaking ?

is the water supply hose leaking ?
