Upper basket poor cleaning performance; bottom performance is ‘as new’.Been…

here https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/…they-work.htmlbut still no remedy.
the upper basket items are not being washed thoroughly. They come out about 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} cleaner. So, I :-
- Tried Finish 3-in-1 tabs.
- Tried Ariel all-in-one
- Tried separate detergent, salt and rinse aid.
- Tried all four programmes.
- Checked seals where the supply tube at the back mates with the delivery arm at the top to which the top spray arm is attached. Seal seems clean, fine, and when I pull the top basket out I can feel the seal un-mating, so all seems well there.
- Checked dishwasher filter support for blockages
- Checked dishwasher sump assembly for blockages
- Cleaned the bottom mesh filter
- Cleaned the coarse filter
- Replaced the fine filter
- Replaced lower spray arm (not that it needed it but to be sure) and seal.
- Replaced the upper spray arm and seal.
- Replaced the upper spray arm feed pipe (from delivery tube to upper arm)
- Replaced the delivery tube (from bottom of dishwasher to upper spray arm feed pipe).
STILL the same arggggh. I do not believe what is going on here? Cannot work it out. The bottom crockery comes out spotless even when using really really dirty stuck on sauces and alike. But the top is awful.
I got a garden hose pipe with nozzle end, and plugged this into the delivery arm that binds with the delivery tube when the basket is pushed to the back of the unit, and fitted the upper spray arm to it. I turned water on and water comes out of the jet holes, all of them, and the arm turns. So this works. I know the delivery tube is not blocked because I can run water through it too. I also tried wrapping the delivery tube in PTFE tape at the bottom where it goes into the circulation pump sump – just to ensure a good seal. No joy – still same. Argghhhh!
This is REALLY weird – I mean what on earth can be wrong. Can anyone suggest because I’m out of ideas.
EDIT:
I placed five small tubs face up in the top basket, one each corner, one in the middle. Ran a 15mins cycle and hardly any water in any tub. So could be pressure but the bottom basket items always come out spotless even when overloaded with crud crusted crockery. The top DID used to be like this too. I also filled the bottom with water and used a air gun to feed air into the supply tube at the back where it mates to the top basket. No bubbles from the bottom so no leaks down there.
WTF is going onHELP !?

ParticipantSOLVED !! Disassembled from the bottom to gain access to water pump and pipework. Both full of crud. Works like BRAND NEW.
