We’ve got a 2-3 yr old Beko DWD5410W that just recently has started to leave dirty water in the bottom of the machine at the end of the wash cycle.
I’m mechnically quite adept and yesterday took it apart to check for blockages or damage to the pump rotor. I found a few pepper seeds and rice grains but both pumps were free to turn and there was no visible damage, and no blockages in the outlet pipe. The internal filter traps were skanky but I cleaned them out, too.
I put it all back together again and ran it in a pre-wash cycle. At the end of this I checked and there was dirty water in the bottom again. Problem clearly not solved.
Is there some kind of switch that tells it when the water has all been pumped out? Could this be sticking? I know about the flood switch in the base.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
