ParticipantThis machine has been barely used and looks immaculate but this week the drum decided to stop turning in any mode.
After doing the diagnostics test any test that set the drum to move failed implying the motor had failed or the power to the motor has failed. The relay on the main board can be heard clicking to indicate it is telling the motor to turn but it doesn’t? I have seen there are many with this fault on line with this machine but I cannot seem to get any clue as to what fixes this common fault. The only one I did come across was to change the motor, Main board and latch which almost makes it cheaper to buy a new unit.October 3, 2017 at 6:09 am #450838kaibart

This may not be what you want to hear but the main motor is at fault it has a small pcb built into it and that has failed will probably be cheaper to buy a new machine 😕

Hi, would this also apply to a WMB 91442LW? I’m having exactly the same problems. I can’t see any brushes on the motor. Error code F13 / 0417. From what I’ve been reading, it seems I’ll have to buy a new machine. Thanks

Beko support in the Midlands appears to be very poor. I have tried 2 days running to get through- 34 times and it is either engaged or does not connect. Apparently they are open 8-30 until 5pm.
The motor I require is £173 from Beko but if the board is an issue cannot the board be provided?
Does anyone know what component fails on the board or if the board is available separately?October 4, 2017 at 12:25 pm #450841electrofix

without more info i cant be certain which is your motor. there are 3 machines with this model but have different commercial codes and there are 3 motors. 1 brush motor and 2 induction motors, one made by Askol the other by atlas
the Askol motor is here

As for the boards they will consist of many components but my guess would be a MOSFET failure

The Motor is an Askoll Type M500.
Any chance anyone has a circuit diagram of the Motor board?October 4, 2017 at 4:19 pm #450844Agentk

Its hard to justify paying £173 for a replacement motor when a new Hotpoint machine with a years warranty is only £225!!
Beko are disposable units when they break, which is a shame as this was a good machine whilst it worked

Could be used as target practice for the tanks lol
