    customer switches oven on to warm up, when thermostat reaches temp & switches off rcd circuit breaker trips off , customer resets & oven continues to end of cooking . it only trips when thermostat reaches temp first time after that ok any ideas thanks

    Got to be an element – the t/stat is just a switch.

    i did think that chris , but a insulation reading for all elements is very good thanks steve,

    Hi.

    There is always the slight possibility that the client has a very twitchy RCD.

    Have you checked the insulation resistance of the element immediately after the rcd has tripped?
